New User SignUP
It is easy to join Fit-UP.org! Once you are a registered user you will have access to all our great programs and health information. Our programs primarily focus on monitoring exercise activity as well as fruit and vegetable intake. Usually only one of our programs will be available at a given time.

So how do you begin?
Go to http://www.fitup.org and click on the "FitUp Sign Up" button.

An important note here: If you save a shortcut or put this page in your "Favorites", make sure that it is at the www.fitup.org homepage only and not at any point after logging in. Trying to go into the program in this way will bypass the login and you will not be "authorized" to view any information.

Next you will come to a page with a FitUP Agreement. Please read it carefully and if you agree with the terms, click the "Accept" button.

Now comes the New User Registration page. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Choose your username and password carefully. The program is case sensitive so "Jane", is not the same as "jane". Make sure you choose something you can remember! This is also where you can choose whether or not to receive our newsletters by email, and which programs you would like to join. Once again, only active programs will be available for enrollment. Usually only one program is available at a given time. When you are finished, click on the "Submit Info" button.

If you have entered all the required information, you will be sent to a confirmation page. If everything looks good, click "Accept'.

Assuming everything went ok, the next page will say "Welcome, Your Username". It could be the case that you have chosen a username that is already in use. In that case you will receive a message to choose a new username. Once you have successfully registered, you can use the links shown to get "More Info", or to move on to the "Activity Manager" page, the center of activity for FitUP.org.

When you arrive at the Activity Manager page, you will be able to enter your username and password to log in. (Remember, case sensitive!) When you do this, and click the "Login" button, you will notice the main page stays the same, but the login frame will have a lot of new links. All the different options are explained in detail in the center of this page. (Reading this information will help to eliminate a lot of problems and questions.)

Under "Available Programs", click the program you want to know more about or enter activity for. By "activity" we mean steps, minutes of exercise, servings of fruits & vegetables, etc.

After you select a link for a certain program, you will go to that program's homepage. There you will find more in-depth information about the program, its prizes and/or incentives and most importantly, you will have a link to "Log Your Activity".

The first time you log activity for your program you will probably be prompted for more information, for instance, a team name or organzation depending on the program you are enrolling in. Remember, not all programs are team-based, so for many of the programs no team information is available. You can also choose "#No Group" if you are not signing up as part of an organization or worksite, and "#No Team" if you not on a team (when available).

If you are part of an organization or team (when available) and they are not in the drop-down list, you will need to talk to your worksite coordinator or team captain (when available). They can add new teams and organizations from the "Activity Manager" page. When you are finished, click the "Submit Info" button.

You will be shown a confirmation screen. In order to update your status you will be asked to log out and then log in again. Don't worry, you'll only have to do this once for each new program you join.

After you have logged out, choose a link to go to the Homepage or to the Activity Manager where you can log in again. Then you are free to choose whatever program you want and begin logging activity and getting healthier!
